Marguerite A. Fair, Long Beach, California
I knew at age ten I wanted to be a writer. Born in Newark, New Jersey, I presently call Long Beach, California home.
Over the years, I've studied my craft, human nature and have learned a lot about love and life from my countless experiences and observations.
Over my lifetime I've been blessed with many joyful experiences and obsessive only in love. Isn't the very nature of love obsession after all? And the golden rule of being a writer is "to write what you know". The dynamics of love with no doubt or argument are responsible for our very existence. Certainly, in the animal kindom, we reign as the foolish manipulators of love. We manage to take the divine and sensual gift of love and ultimately find a way to sabotage it.
Since love is a universal area of interest, frustration, and fasination , in several of my scripts I have used my craft to create titillating and completely fictitious stories. The intention is to explore the possibilites of imagination to help find healthy and harmless ways to resolve inner conflicts concerning the delicate nature of love, particularly the painful and scolding emotions revolving around rejection.
Each of us has experienced rejection at one time or another and understand that it is the most painful of all the emotions to process.....but it can be overcome when we learn to foucs on other passions and just let go of something that no longer fits. It's okay to breathe alone.
My technique for this procedure is to incorporate inspiration from men I have known to create my art. To all the men whom I have shared time with, thank you for your love and the experience of the various emotions that travel along with the only real game in town.
To all of you, live long, live well and remember the laughter we shared.
PHOTO'S AND THOUGHTS
(The photographs below are digital self-shots taken by Marguerite Fair 2006)

Taking self-photos is truly a challenge, but like every form of art, it gets better with practice..............
We fall in love, when looking into the eyes of someone who enables us to see the best in ourselves.........despite our imperfections. The honesty of feelings in the soul can not be hidden, if we are truly willing to search our hearts, before judging others too harshly.

The ability to study ourselves outside can be greatly beneficial to discovering who we are where it counts.....inside. Our bodies age and change, but our spirits forever are filled passion, joy and appreciation.

We are as multifaceted as sand on the beach glistening in the sunset of the day. We are good, bad, kind, cruel, understanding, judgmental, sympathetic, uncaring, honest, and liars . We can perform miricles at times, yet still in a quiet human heartbeat, inflict unbelievable and inappropriate pain to the people we love the most.
We need to learn to not be afraid to change our minds and incorporate the unexpected blast of fun and laughter to enter our space whenever the opportunity presents itself. When life is too predictible, it becomes tainted by the stale taste of conforming to the expectations of others. We need to experience change in order to grow.
