I knew at the age of ten that I wanted to be a writer.
Over the years, I've studied my craft, taken writing classes, studied human nature, and have learned a lot about love and life from my countless experience and observations.

I've written twelve screenplays, ranging from drama and comedy, all the way to horror. Presently, I'm working on a new romantic comedy.

I wrote a play last year called YOUR LATE MOTHER, which I will produce in 2010.  It's a serious, one-act play about a woman who sets her mind to mend the broken threads of her family. Particularly, mending her relationship with her two sons.

Not a day has passed, since I was ten years old, that I haven't written in a journal or been jotting down stories.
You name it, I've enjoyed writing it.  When I lived in Leicester, NC, every letter to the editor I wrote was published. As a writer, I value the adventure of written opinions!

The rule of thumb about being a writer
, is to write about what you know.  The dynamics of love with no doubt or exception are responsible for our very existence.  Love is my favorite topic for writing. Without it, none of us would be creating much of anything.

Certainly, in the animal kingdom, we reign as the foolish manipulators of love.  We manage to take the divine and sensual gift of love and ultimately find a way to sabotage it.

Since love is a universal area of interest, frustration and fascination, in several of my scripts I have used my craft to create titillating and fictitious stories.  The intention is to explore the possibilities of imagination to help find healthy and harmless ways to resolve inner conflicts concerning the delicate nature of love.  Particularly the painful and scolding emotions revolving around rejection.

My newest writing birth is a novel called, "OF THE SAME MIND." It's a romantic thriller about a man who becomes a prisoner of obsession. The message simply is, be careful whom you touch, some people take it seriously. "OF THE SAME MIND", along with some of my other books are available for purchase on my bookstore site:  http://www.fairebooks.com/
For the year of 2010, all ebooks on the bookstore site will be only $5.00. Even during these tough economic times, there are still bargains to be found!

I'm a romantic with creative vision!

We fall in love when looking into the eyes of someone who enables us to see the best in ourselves.........despite our imperfections. The honesty of feelings in the soul can not be hidden, if we are truly willing to search into our hearts before judging others too harshly.
Ultimately, we learn to love ourselves and trust our instincts.  Always appreciate yourself, accept who you are and never stop trying to improve who you are.
Every day offers a new experience and lesson!
The ability to study ourselves outside, can be greatly beneficial to discovering  who we are where it counts......inside.  Our bodies age and change, but our spirits are forever filled with passion, joy and appreciation.

We are as multifaceted as sand on the beach glistening in the sunset of the day.  We are good, bad, kind, cruel, understanding, judgmental, sympathetic, uncaring, honest and liars, victims and heroes. We can perform miracles at times, yet still in a quiet human heartbeat, inflict unbelievable and inappropriate pain to the people we love the most.

We need to learn to not be afraid to change our minds, and incorporate the unexpected blast of fun and laughter into our space when the opportunity presents itself. When life is too predictable, it becomes tainted by the stale taste of conforming to the expectations of others. We need to experience change in order to flourish and grow.

And that is my testimony to my life.

Live, Laugh, Love, Learn and never stop embracing each new day and the opportunities that it brings along with it.

A SPECIAL PART OF MY JOURNEY
Away from home........

by Marguerite A. Fair

Once upon a time, I took a journey to another state for eighteen months. It turned out to be the best and most profound gift that I gave to myself.
A special man lives there.   A man from my past
whom I love to this day.
He was an important part of my life on many levels.  Unknowingly, he helped me to piece back together
the torn parts of me.
My journey was meant to pursue the love lost from my past, but what I discovered ultimately was the part of me
 once lost and now found.
While it was not my destiny to be with him or capture his heart; I now understand that would not have been a solution for me to discover who I am or heal myself.
I will always be grateful to have known him, and I will forever
love him in a special  and private place in my spirit.
While I have accepted by his choice, his complete departure from my life, I know that at one time he loved,
protected and adored me.
That's more than many people get in a lifetime.
You know who you are. Thank you.
I pray for your good health and continued happiness.
