As Benita said faithfully, "It is not getting old that makes us sick. It is getting sick that makes us old."
Lovely Benita was 79 years young when this photo was taken.
A woman of integirty, and a true health expert, as well as my mentor. I send my  love to Benita who passed away in September 2010. Thank you for all of your lessons. I will truly miss seeing your lovely face!

Born in Austria, Benita surived the bombings from the war; not without damage to her lungs.
Still, due to her healthy lifestyle, dicipline and knowledge of how to treat her body well....she lived to age 81.
Most people would not have surived to 50, but Benita, thrived and remained beautiful and healthy until the last few months of her life when it was her time to leave us.........
She will forever remain my inspiration to live my life healthier.
In dedication to Benita, I am presently writing a new book:
"WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT BETTER HEALTH FORM BARONESS BENITA VON KLINGSPOR"
It will be available for sale in December 2011.


GOLDEN GODDESSES   is a venue for women over 60 to celebrate their lives.
It was founded to encourage women to embrace the true Goddess in themselves..........every day.
As women, we should support each other, share our stories and help each other to become empowered!

Sometimes as women on the other side of fifty, we reach a point where we feel almost invisible.
The children are grown, some husbands pass on and others are wandering around trying to find their own new point of direction.
Society labels us as older and at times no longer appreciates the widsom, creativity and beauty that
we still pocess.  We sit and are left alone to wonder, what is next for me?

We wear the labels of wife, lover, mother, friend, confidant, caregiver and a dozen other names over the
course of our lifetimes.  Sometimes we just need to share our joys, experience and feelings with other people.
We seek support for our new ventures and search for the bliss within us!
